Tom got released from Hospital this evening and is back home. Which is fantastic for me to hear. I only wished I was back home still to see him. I will have to wait, but it was so good to hear his voice on the phone, as if nothing has happened. He is only lucky man.

He is on blood thinning meds, to stop his blood clotting again, and he can get around better on his crutches. The family sounded so overjoyed to have him home, it seemed to left him bemused bless him!

Thank you all so much for your prayers, healing energies, and thoughts. I honestly believe it helped him so much.

The family are planning to have a party to celebrate, and get everyone to dip in their pockets and donate money to the intensive care ward he was in. The simple fact is, without that ward, my brother wouldn’t be here today. My mother is donating money from the money Nan left her when she passed away recently. The ward doesn’t seem to get enough from the budget from the government, and rely on donations from families. The ventilator Tom was on was donated by a past patient. That ventilator saved his life. I offered to do a piece of art work to donate to the ward; they have art dotted here and there around the ward waiting room, and the corridor. I figured showing my appreciation in the best way I know how, showing my art and people knowing the reason why its there would spur hope and inspiration in future families in the same horrible situation as us. Mum loved the idea, and I would like to extend this idea to you guys.

I most probably be going back down there in a couple of weeks, and I hope to have a watercolour piece done by then, and I wanted to ask if anyone would like to donate a piece of work to this cause. I would love to take lots of art there to show our appreciation for what they have done.

Please get in touch if you wish to donate and I will give you address details to send once complete. I plan to take pictures of the works being donated so you can see them going to their new homes.

Hi everyone, just a update from me.

Tom has been taken of the ventilator this morning, and taken off sedation, he is very drowsy, and cant hardly talk, and low on strengh, we are waiting to see if he can get strong enough to carry on breathing by himself. Otherwise they may put him back on the ventilator.

When I walked into the ward today, seeing him look at me and knows actually I am there I nearly cried with joy. I was so happy he is awake, I couldn't stop giving the poor guy kisses on the cheek and stroking his arm lol. He was asking to see Devon his girlfriend, and she has gone to see him tonight

I wanted to thank everyone for your prayers. If you see the picture above thats, his car after the accident, to be honest I don't know how he made it, and I honestly believe your prayers made such a difference, and that picture proves it, and I thank you all so much. Big hugs for all! We just need to pray for his strengh to get stronger.

I really need you help guys. My brother was in a serious car accident Saturday morning. He was doing a u turn and someone twice over the legal limit and speeding rammed in to the back side of his side of the car. He ended up with a broken fima and a busted rib, cut and bruised to high heaven. But he is alive and awake. And I thank the goddess nothing more serious happened. Thankfully the other guy got caught and arrested. My mother and father are currently in Malta and me, the eldest of six are currently house sitting with my fiancé, looking after the family, and this happened… My family are rallying round and keeping each other spirits up, but it torn us to pieces inside, visiting him in hospital with all these wires hanging out. I know I am barely keeping it together as the head of the house while the parents are away in Malta, they are going to stay out there as they wont be able to do anything if they came back early. My brother has been in surgery and has had a pin put in his leg, its up to him according to the hospital now, how he puts up with the pain and trying to walk again etc. He needs so much strength now and a lot of determination to do this, he has been through so much in the last day, I was with him when they realigned his bone to give pain relief in A & E, and all I could do is hold him while he cries out in agony. I know it has really broken my heart apart, I never want to see my brothers and sisters in this state, as I looked after them growing up, as there was so many of us. So I have a strong maternal instinct with them as well as being with his sister. He is 21 years old.


Please send him strength and will power to get through this, he need it so much right now. Thank you.

I just wanted to post a quick update. I wanted to thank you all for your well wishes and love. I feel alot stronger today so I hope Thomas feels the same when I see him later on. They have found a blood clot so they are treating him for that now. Plus they have to put him on a ventilator, so he can breathe as he was running a temperature. He has been moved to the ITU (intense therapy unit) so they can keep a closer eye on him. So keep those healing energies coming!
